Luckily, my idiocy didn't extend that far. I had it out of the airplane while trying to get it out of the mud (totally pointless using a towbar to try and pull a C182 by myself as it turns out). Once I did manage to power out I was so happy to be moving that I just kept going and took off. Didn't realise the poor towbar had stayed behind until the next day...
