News flash on Fox -

"at 12:10 EDT, another small plane violated the ADIZ and fighters had to be scrambled to force the small plane out of the area....Security sources say this happens several times every day....These small planes have caused a lot of trouble and security scares...."

I snipped it a bit, it wasn't an unfair report, but to average peep's, all they hear is "These small planes are trouble."

I know the ADIZ sucks rocks, but man, we got to stay out of it or they will screw it up for the whole country.

Could be just like Europe one day, flight plans required to be filed and approved by central HQ, fees, fees, fees, fees, restrictions, silly requirements and so on.

Or worse.

This one doesn't even show up where I'm looking.

I did find something on opening Reagan National to GA - apparently it's limited to 48 flights per day, and you'd have to land at one of 12 gateway airports for a search beforehand. Hardly seems worth it.

It was on TV on the Fox News Channel earlier. It didn't sound like a "big deal" just yet another bubba bumpin of the ADIZ.
