Foreflight Pro Plus

When I got Foreflight about 10 years ago, I bought Foreflight PRO. It was always supposed to grandfathered in at the same price, maybe around $170 or so. Now they are saying I must upgrade to Pro Plus for $239 at the end of my subscription date ( December). Is this happening to anyone else? I am really happy with the PRO and is there any other way to keep it? It is not the money, but rather that I am happy with those features. Also am I missing out on a great feature you use on the Pro Plus? I use it for IFR and VFR for SA in addition to the G1000.
