That's really one of the better options around here. Everything else is either trees or buildings.

Hopefully the authorities will be able to get it out of there without damaging the airframe. The news story doesn't say why the forced landing was made, but I'd have to say that loss of power was likely. The weather earlier today was VFR, right now it's thunderstormy.

I’m working on a story about the plane that was down on Ga. 316. I know it was an experimental plane, so I was wondering if you’d know anything about the plane / pilot or have any comment about the safety of experimental planes.

Told her she could do her own research on the safety of experimentals and that the pilot did what he was trained to do which resulted in a great outcome.

The real issue in this situation is if a newspaper reporter gets information this way, no wonder there are tons of misinformed people out there.
