For those from the Detroit area...

Sounds like he was quite the character. Another story said he was 63. RIP.
 
Arthur Penhallow convinced me to stop listening to WRIF many years ago, so I never heard much from Drew and Mike...

But 63 is no fun. People should be older than me when they die.
 
I lived most of my life in the Detroit area and the name doesn't ring a bell. Two others mentioned in that article, Ken Calvert and Jim Johnson, sure. But I'm scratching my head trying to remember if I ever heard of Mike Clark. (I never listened to WRIF though, so maybe that's why.)

They said he kept his plane in Oakland County. Does anyone know which airport? I'm guessing KPTK, but it could have been Y47 too. (I was based at KVLL.)

In any case, sad news I'm sure. RIP.
