Almost One Hundred Thousand Dollars for a PA-24-260...... and you cant post pics :rolleyes2:

This is why PoA "classifieds" aren't worth posting.

Someone wants to offer something for sale and the half wits immediately begin attacking the ad.

I suggest PoA offer a classified section without responses.

Perhaps he shouldn't have invest so much in the plane and saved a little extra for a digital camera.

Dont mean to be a d1ck, but you ask THAT much for a 45yr old plane and cant post a pic, really?

Im just trying to help this dude out, with out some pictures backing up how its the nicest PA24 on earth, no one in their right mind would even call him with that asking price

You might be surprised- the C-model Comanches have some of the most resilient resale prices of the GA fleet. Very popular airplane.

I agree with you about the sniping, but I really would like to see pics. It sounds like a great plane, but I don't have enough knowledge to know if it is a good price.

Gotta have pictures...but the price is lower than what most 260c's in decent condition are actually selling at.

Happy to help.

Sorry guys, I did not mean to be a 'DicK' chitdisturber. I ran out of time yesterday and did not have a chance to get back on until now. Thank-you ChrisK for positng the photos from Barnstomers. I run the shop at Sonoma Jet Center and we are super busy, no time for computer editing. I took a bunch of photos, The owner decided to ask more than the initial thinking. I know he spent in excess of 75K in our shop in the last year. He is a surgeon who's wife wants to fly & buy in a friends Cirrus. http://www.barnstormers.com/classified_840553_1969+Comanche+260C.html. email me and I will send all photos and logbook entries as needed. Ron

How do I post photos from my Ipad? I do not know how assign a URL# Thanks! Ron

If you are going through a browser, there is a little photo icon at the top of the advanced reply box that will give you a spot to plug in a URL. Please make sure the pictures are appropriately sized to the page so they don't blow out the whole thread.

Will the peanut gallery remind me again what are the fundamental differences between a B and C model? From my understanding the 260 and 250 model difference is that the former is FI and the latter is carb, no?

I thought comanches were faster/more efficient than sub-160KTAS @ 14GPH. I always thought a FI Comanche should get 150KTAS below 12GPH....

I could milk 160+ kts out of Av's 260TC at 16,000 on 12.3gph LOP.

Mods, feel free to delete if I'm over the top, but I tire of the a-holes here.

It's against forum rules to circumvent the language filter.

Wahhhhh.

It's also against forum rules to comment on the value of an item for sale in the classifieds.

BTW...do a search for "****" and "sh*t" and see how many hits you get here.

It's all good, there's plenty of people here willing to be offended on your behalf if you're unable to do so.

Haven't seen anyone take offense myself. Just a few calling out another few for what they are.
