There was also a Mooney fly-in there in mid-September I'd have loved to make, but unfortunately I had a conflict.

Still would love to have a Swift someday...

Kent, all I have to do is look, longingly, at the Swifts there on display. It would be sick *not* to love those planes.

Indeed. I've heard some people asking questions about takeoff technique because they were going 30º nose up after liftoff and still accelerating so fast they were having trouble getting the gear in the wells before they busted through Vloretract. Nothing like having 2.5x the horsepower the plane originally came with.
