This is the greatest Steve Goodman song. Whether or not it is a bar song, well.....
Arlo is the guy that pretty much discovered Steve. There is a good Arlo story about their first meeting. At the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago there is a poster of the concert they had after Steve died and Arlo signed it. I used to pass by the poster whenever I was there and never really looked at it until I heard the story from Arlo last year at one of his concerts.
I digress, but that is mostly cause the Cubs suck and I wanted to post soimething in this thread.
