Follow the magenta line

My Garmin Nuvi told me there was road from town that gets into Gaston's the back way.

The "road" turned into a gravel cow path that ended at the front porch of a house. Being that I used the glass panel up top along with the video screen, I turned around.

There's a Saturn car commercial that just started airing in our market where the driver makes a sudden left turn as instructed by his GPS and then plunges off a cliff and crashes into the water below. The funniest part is when the GPS says "recalulating" as the car is in free fall.

On the surface, blaming the GPS is misplaced. It looks like that couple
suffered a case of p*** poor planning. Fortunately they are ok.

A few years back (8 or so), before GPS navagation in cars was commonplace, I had MapQuest take me on some interesting excursions. For some reason most of them were in Arizona.
