FOI endorsement question

Hey all,

I'm excited to finally be diving back into aviation and training after a long hiatus. Getting the ball rolling (again) in pursuit of a CFI rating. Working on getting the knowledge tests out of the way first, so I picked up a Sheppard subscription for FOI to refresh.

I was a little surprised to find out (via the Sheppard intro literature) that as of September 2024, a ground training endorsement is now required to take the FOI written. I have two questions about this:

1) Does it only apply to initial test-takers? I took and passed my FOI, FIA, and FII tests 4-5 years ago. Will the AKTR sheet from the expired test suffice in lieu of the endorsement? That's how it worked when I re-took my expired CAX test a couple of years ago,T so I'd like to assume it's the same thing, but I didn't get or need an endorsement for the written tests.
2) Does this apply to the other CFI exams? I.e. FIA, FII, AGI?

For others reading, that matrix also answered my second question; the other instructor exams (except sport and helicopter) still do NOT require endorsements.
