Just got an email from FlyQ advertising a black Friday sale. 2yr, full IFR for $99. I tried the trial (on the ground) after Oshkosh and didn't see enough to make me switch from Foreflight.

This price is tempting though, and opens up the door for multiple ADS-B receiver options.

Anyone have any recent experience with FlyQ?

It's a pretty compelling app. That prices makes it all the more so.
 
I saw it earlier, but I've already committed to foreflight. One thing I didn't like about FlyQ was the inability to add arrivals into the flight plan. I emailed tech support and they said they would consider it for future updates.
 
It aborts or freezes on me on both ipad2 and Air, cant rely on it in flight


I heard that BK are getting out of the app business so maybe SA can focus more on fixing the FlyQ app

There are some features of the BK app I liked, for example the airspace alerts but their SV screen sucked

Wingx support (lack of) INFURIATES me. Twice I've had questions about inaccuracies on the VFR chart and they never respond.

Agree about WingX lack of support - love their app but their support and website is lacking...... FF runs a very professional operation and unforuately is the standard that people come to expect.

Hilton monitors the red board but usually he only replies to plug his product.
I had an issue with version 6.9.1 breaking certain Zaon traffic, turns out it was two things, he switched the comm protocol ( without informing users that parameters on the wifi doogle required changing ) and somehow disabled a feature he previously added and took until the latest version to correct ( i might be the only one using it !!!!)

The support of Zaon traffic keeps me using WingX
 
Too late now that i have the stratus 2 and fore flight.Staying with that decision for now.
