Flying with a $2.5M camera

Love that guy one of the most entertaining channels in my opinion. The type of flying he does would be a blast

$11,000 per hr. I'll use my "Walmart special" drone with 720P and charge $110. Same results. :)

I don't see the issue. I fly with a $3.2K camera all the time. :)

Used to have a customer who had a camera in his 310 that was worth more than the airplane.

HE WAS HANDSOMELY PAID FOR HIS SERVICES.

High end digital mapping cameras/lidars and especially bathymetric lidars can easily get into the 7 figures in the aerial mapping world. And some outfits are running birds with 2 sensor holes carrying 2 of those sensors at a time. Our general thoughts are the plane is the cheapest part of the operation.

The camera my customer used took a ten by eight negative. The results of his aerial photography were amazing in their detail. It was interesting and educational to help modify his T310R to accommodate the camera.
