As far as I know it is done forever. Jim was supposedly going to retire.

Have not read any more about the potential spin off series.

Ya now that I think about it, it's been a while since I was told by FWA that a plane can flip over at time and crash on landing. Man that show sucks... Ice Pilots on the other hand is a pretty good show.
