Pre-takeoff checklist
Does anybody have recent-ish experience with this outfit? Considering them for a friend who wants to finish off his private cert, and myself for commercial+CFI. Replies either in thread or PM appreciated.

I don't have experience with them, but I do know and like the folks at California Airways at Hayward.

I finished my trained at California Airways. Very nice people. Ben Brillo was my CFI. Really good instructor, knowledgeable and flexible schedule wise. PM my if need more info. KHWD is a good place to practice air spaces and radio skills due to complicated airspace. It adds time to the training but that was really worth it.
