I reside in Florida and finally saved up enough Money to fly to Cuba as a mini vacation. I always wanted to go as a pilot which is only a few Hundred miles away, (A little over 200 Miles). I called Air Journey to book for 2018 and they mentioned nobody can fly there "For fun" after January because of the new laws that are coming into play 2018. So I'm out of luck. What is the deal?

If you guys are planning such a trip get it done this year, (I don't have the time or I would've) because even the Cruises and commercial flights has been shut down for next year as well.

Does anyone have any details on what is going on with our relations with Cuba?

But you are not flying to Cuba for fun, you see. You are going on a religious pilgrimage to visit old Cuban churches. There are a few everywhere. Take some pictures. Now you are legal.

You might want to wear a "noise cancelling" full body suit, or at least a helmet.

Opening up Cuba was one of two things Obama did that I liked. Hopefully Trump will agree to give up the tightening of travel in exchange for one of his other issues getting passed.
