A book I wish I had read 40 years ago!
Fascinating insight into the politics within the industry and ALPA as it strove to attain recognition from the 1920’s through to the early 1980’s when deregulation hit the streets.
Not an easy book to read as it is factual in nature and understandably concentrates on the people at the centre of all of the turmoil. Nevertheless it shares an insight into airlines and airline histories that I had probably not fully grasped.
I am glad I stuck with it though as I am about to dive into the second book in the series covering 1980 to 1990 !
