Flying Lessons in Hawaii

Hello All,

I have been reading the forums for a few weeks, but finally signed up. I am looking to start taking private lessons at my location airport (KROA) soon, but I am going to be in Hawaii on vacation in January and want to take a lesson there. Can anybody recommend good places on Oahu to take a single lesson?

Maui or Hawaii, yes. The only outfit I've flown with on Oahu appears to be out of business. I'm sure others will chime in. A beautiful (and expensive) place to fly, that's for certain. Have fun.
 
I concur with assessment about Moore Air. Flew from HNL to OGG with Mark Jones in their Arrow. Real nice guy and a good instructor. Ex Air Force, but laid back. When I go back will definatly take another flight with him.
 
Thank's for the suggestion guys. I will take a look into them. My father-in-law who has a house there said Barber's Point was close to where he lived...so I will check out both!
