I am planning to fly into Oshkosh next Monday and land after the airshow.
The Airshow ends at 1830 and arrivals begin around1900 but closes at 2000 for the night, Therefore I only have a 1 hour time frame to land.
I was wanting to see if anyone has done an evening arrival and if so how did it work out, would I risk getting stuck in the hold till after 2000 and would I have to divert at that point?
All tips and advice is appreciated

My plan is to depart C47 (portage) at 1800 so I will get to Rippon around 1830, prior to airspace opening, should I get to Rippon earlier?
