Flying into BJC Sunday

Colorado POAers, I'll be flying into BJC on Sunday afternoon (current plan is ~4 PM) to deliver something on the order of 34-44 pups.

It'll be a turn-n-burn (gotta get back home), but anyone who'd like to come out and see what one of these operations really is like, feel free!
 
I know you went into ASH this last weekend. Let us know if you come up this way again (Northern MA or Southern NH/ME)...I would love to see you guys in action and check out the 414

We make semi regular trips up there. I'll try to remember to make a post of the next time I go. Also, if you like our Facebook page, I make announcements on there before trips.

You going to show up to see what happens when cages come from the plane? (that's the best I could come up with for a play on "come from together")

Probably not.

This time of year it would be better if you can get in and out by noon or so. Afternoon storms are common. And I was joking about calling them Jeffco. Metro tower works, don't need the whole Rocky Mountain metro thing.

It'll be about 4 PM when I show up. Timing is what it is, if we have to wait it out we wait it out.
 
Wish they had gone with Rocky Mountain Tower. Metro is too... generic.

That's a long drive for me unless we are having lunch. Besides I'm on call. After my extended vacation I'm set to be on call or working for quite a few days coming up.
 
c'mon - it's "Jeff-uh-Metro tower" .... no idea where I'll be or what I'll be doing Sunday afternoon, but I'll put it on my calendar. Any idea where the unload will be?

At 4 it'll probably still be quite hot out if the t-storms haven't started.

Will see if we can wander up on Sun just to say hi and meet pups. Karen would probably like to see the operation. And it'd be cool to meet "The Ted". Haha.
 
It's still Jeffco and Arapahoe to me. These funky new names...
 
I expect the unloading to be at Signature. We'll be unloading, getting fuel, and heading back out. Gotta drop the plane off the mechanic to get a few things done before I have to fly it again (looks like a 2 week break until the next trip).
 
When they changed all the taxiways to romeo I asked "wherefore art though romeo?" they got a kick out of that.

Unfortunately I'm in Washington until December otherwise I definitely would have been there!

Now that I have turbos and pressurization, there are talks about trips to Washington. Will keep you posted.

Sounds good. I get to rent a CarbonCub for stupid cheap so I can travel just about anywhere in the state.

EDIT: But I'm in South Central Washington in Yakima (KYKM)
