Flying buddies Veince / Sarasota

[Colin 182]

Hi, I have a holiday home is Osprey and I’m over for about 20 weeks of the year. Usually during the months of January/Feb, April/ May and Sept/October. I have just recently finished my FAA IR and plan to do my CPL in 2012. I would like to find other pilots to fly with and hope this add is in the right section. I have about 450 hrs and usually fly a C182 in the UK when our weather permits.(Which is not all that often this time of year) It would be great to get to know some local pilots to share flying times with and learn more about flying in the states. My email is [email protected] Happy to share costs ect.... which is the norm over here.....

Thanks

Colin.

Hey Colin,

There are a number of us on this board who live or have vacation homes in the Sarasota area. We've been known to do some hangar flying at Sharkey's or various other spots. I recommend the Turtle Beach Pub on Siesta Key, which is walking distance from my place there.

Don't know that I can help with the flying buddies part, though.
