After cancelling my flight from KFAR - KMFI today , and missing the opportunity to meet some fine POA peeps, I watched this , very helpful and helps you understand how fly through or navigate around them. It’s about 2 hrs, get a coffee

Didn’t listen to much of it but just because the temp & DP are within a couple of degrees doesn’t mean you need to land. Plenty of nights the temp DP are the same with calm winds and I go flying...all night long. :(

I agree, I’d just be more on alert for carb ice and likely just hit full heat now and again anyway for a couple mins... I do anyway as I fly a known ice maker... personal opinion is close spread wont stop me but I’d watch for carb ice all the more...

I know some will tell me I’ll ruin my engine but I’d run heat in the ground for a min or two before take off if not in a dust storm... Ice on the take off roll isn’t great for the engine either...
