Three legs and 7 flight hours of awesome Alaska flying! First, straightforward IFR into busy Anchorage International. Then the fun starts… canyon flying among the glaciers, more low-over-the-water stuff, an approach to minimums. Welcome aboard! Wayne, GeezerGeek Pilot

Agreed... we enjoyed our day off in Haines and Chilkoot.

No, Billy... our plan was just to do Haines, then after a day off to continue to Glacier Bay/Gustavus (next episode)... and then return to the lower 48.

A big regret for me was I never recorded the approach and landing at Skagway while flying the Navajo.

Having that waterfall fill the windscreen is quite a sight. Not to mention the turn just before the trees. I still like Excursion Inlet best though.
