I have been following Shaesta Waiz for a little while. She is planning and setting up her Bonanza A36 to fly around the world. Here is a One of the YT videos:

Wow! Impressive! Though I wonder about the configuration of the ferry tanks. She will not have an easy time with ingress/egress, especially in case of an emergency.

One of the more notable around the world flights in a single engine plane was made by Lt Col Don P. Taylor in N455DT, a Thorpe T-18 he built himself and then used to set a number of records. N455DT is now in the EAA museum in Oshkosh, WI.
