All are welcome and invited, but nothing is planned, just throwing an idea out there to gauge interest.

I don't know much about the town but I could VERY easily get on board with a Wyoming fly-in. I'd make the trip from Chicago.
Some place like that I'd personally prefer for fall or spring. Summer could be brutal for DA and winter could be rugged wx.

There used to be a french bakery that made the best croissants. Never could figure out how, with the altitude. Hope it's still there. Colorado Pilots Assoc did a flyin there a number of years ago.

With only one runway (two for the pedantic ones around), it could be a good exercise in crosswind landings :) Short flight for me and it would fill in a blank on my map

With a name like Whistle Pigs Saloon, how could we pass this one up? 1400 NM in a rental sounds like an adventure.

All joking aside it is definitely a place that I didn't know existed that I would now like to visit.

Interested. If schedule permits, I would be in.

I tried to cast my vote for Yassss but only Yesss was available

How's the fishing in the area?

I'm interested, especially if I can parlay it into a longer expedition.

The nearby Snow Range is a very beautiful mountain, from the ground and the air.

I sent an email to two lodges in town to see if they can accommodate, transport us to/fro the airport, asked if any bicycles available, special group rates, etc. Now look at this beautiful patio, looks like a nice spot! They claim to have fishing / fly fishing too. I would check online for reviews. But seems to have everything.

Weather wise
End May, June July August, early Sept seem to be the better months. Chilly at night.

I’m interested, Depending on dates of course.

Riviera Lodge got back to me
41 rooms from queen beds to 2 bedroom suites
Free bicycles for use (unsure how many)
Outdoor space on the river with outdoor grills and firepit
Need to call to request transportation from airport (they have to see what they can do)
Dog friendly $20/night/dog, hopefully I can get that waived
They are busy on most weekends so they suggested to call to arrange
