Includes 250 new body scanners...

And here I thought the politicians were serious about listening to their constituents when they huffed and puffed and said they'd cut TSA's budget.

Jesse and I counted three separate TSA staff business cards on the bulletin board of a middle-of-nowhere Nebraska airport in the middle of the night.

Personally, I know I felt the warm glow of safety from having the nearby Tractor Supply Co. parking lot being safe from terrorists. ;)

I can't speak for Jesse. :)

AeroNav has a 5 million dollar shortfall, that's MILLION. Who needs to throw 5 MIL at Aeronautical charts when you can spend $8 billion on TSA and get much more safety for your money.

That is a very good point.

The TSA makes me sick.

I just flew a warrior to Murfreesboro, TN and back yesterday for less than the cost of 2 Southwest tickets. And we would have had to fly into Nashville and rent a car. Private air travel rocks :)

Pic is coming home over the blue ridge mountains.

at the risk of going SZ, and assuming those were US-made devices, at least it was good for the economy...

wasn't it?

Gotta think positive, I really don't like dwelling on all the negative aspects of the TSA.

Nice photo. I always find it interesting how people miss/can't comprehend the difference between million, billion, and trillion and how really big the latter are, when talking about money.
