Floods - Anyone else affected by the weather?

Fortunately for my family it is just my hangar but for many in the Midwest it is their lives and lively hood.

Lets just say I haven't been flying as much as I wanted to this Spring..

Here is a pic of KSET - St Charles Co Missouri... you can catch a glimpse of RWY 27.. 1 of 4 the airport has. Last check of the Mississippi River crest shows the airport will get another 2 foot of rain before it starts to fall.

That sucks. My hangar is well above the Illinois River so no flooding concerns there. Hope it recedes quickly and things can get back to normal.
 
Levees have a down side too - they force storm water downstream and cause more flooding.

Hope this drains soon.

Your airplane is out of there, right?
 
If my house at 6500 feet floods out, you guys down below me are going to have a lot more problems....
 
They are about to open the flood relief structure here in Louisiana along the Mississippi; I believe it'll be only the third time that it has ever needed to be opened since it was built 65 years ago.
