FlightDesign - really puzzled

They promoted the C4 for years, flew the damn thing in 2015, and it's still not for sale.
Instead, they have developed another 4-seater, the F4.
What is wrong with these people?

I see the F2 as the new and improved CT. The 4 seater is going to follow this new design. Makes sense to me to have the 4 seater follow the new design, instead of the old one.

As to what is wrong with these people, the company went into bankruptcy between then and now.
