I got to log another couple XC hours this weekend. We went to Chino to see the Aviation museum, then went for some sight seeing over long beach and back down the coast.

I've never flown in this 172 before, and I got a little embarrased when I read the number off the panel to ground control as: 'cessna 4 6 6 3 gee' :D .. oh well.

The flight was great. We got to see some gliders and parachutes off in the distance on the way to CNO. Too bad I didn't have the camera out yet.

When we got to Chino, they were flying a few P51s and other old birds around the pattern a bit. We had some good timing.

It was a little hazy out, but Photoshop auto-levels did a great job at clearing things up a bit. I got some pictures of the museum, Long Beach, Queen Mary, and John Wayne (airport that is:) ). I setup a gallery so my pictures could be seen somewhere besides my computer. Here it is: http://gtpilot.net/gallery/v/2006-01-07/
