Today we were supposed to fly down to Houston to visit the Grand kids. There was hope earlier in the morning that the storms would move through and give us window of opportunity...yeah that didn't happen. So two hours ago we let the kids know to save my beautiful birthday cake that Abby baked for tomorrow, and yet both John and I just checked the weather again. The kids have made new plans for their afternoon, so even if a window of opportunity opened up they would not be there anyway...yet we still keep checking the weather.
