FLIGHT Act & tarmac

A bipartisan bill known as the FLIGHT Act . . .

Tarmacs? Really, is going back to tarmac forward looking? Does anyone still use tarmac for any airport surface?

Sure, because otherwise it would be the FLIGR Act, which would do nothing for anyone because it doesn't have a good acronym.

Besides, "ramp" is only a portion of tarmac, generally reserved for parking near the FBO, while "tarmac" could be everything useable other than runways and taxiways. Doesn't matter who uses it, just what the word means.
