Flew into the clouds at night sort of.

A pilot I worked with flew into a mountain during the day time. VFR in the clouds. Experienced bush pilot.

Strobes can make the clouds look a lot more forboding at night as well.

This is one big reason I don’t fly much at night (at all) until I have some good amount of hood time.
