So I got my private about three months ago, but all of the recent flights have just been the same old same old. Over to the practice area with friends, steep turns , stalls, etc....
Today I used my ticket for a real purpose! A young friend of mine who really enjoys aviation wanted to go up, so instead of the typical flight I decided to take him over to a local airport and meet a friend. I am currently helping the friend build a Glasair III. This was the first time Ive ever flown somewhere, shut down, and got out of the airplane!
I put together a really short video of the return flight and landing at CAK. And also a few pictures of the Glasair III that I am helping on.
