Filing Flight Plan
Hello fellow aviators!
My name is Brandon and I just wanted to say hey to everyone. I'm a graduate of Indiana State University's Professional Aviation program and hold commercial pilot certificate with instrument and multi engine ratings. I was working as a CFI but it expired due to life circumstances, but I held CFI and CFII certificates when I was still working. I also hold a tailwheel endorsement.
I am in love with aviation and have been my whole life. It all started when I was 17 and my American Legion baseball team took a flight from Indy to Detroit after winning the state championship. We flew up there to compete in a regional (Great Lakes) tourney. Ever since that flight it's been all over. I had to learn how to fly!
Some of my most cherished memories in airplanes are with my initial flight instructor doing my private and instrument training. Getting in and out of those towering cumulus clouds, dodging storms in the summer time. Amazing scenery. Plus shooting approaches in actual IMC with my students was fun.
Then of course taking X-country trips with my girlfriend (now wife) was always a blast, especially when we flew into KSTL got a courtesy car and caught a Cardinals baseball game. Plus many other $100 hamburger style trips.
Anyway, I'm hoping I can contribute and add advice/value to those of you who are training and make a few friends in the meantime. Looking forward to interacting to all of you!
