I finally got my first flight in my 150 yesterday. It was awesome! Did a very thorough pre-flight with my instructor, and found a few squaks, but nothing to make it un-airworthy. We taxied it around for 10-15 minutes, then took to the air. I think I was more nervous/excited than my very first flight lesson. Since I learned in Cub, upgrading to a "modern" system was a little overwhelming at first. I got behind the plane a few times, but nothing to bad. I kept getting yelled at for having a death grip on the yoke. They threatened to grease them with vaseline if I did it again. But the flight was great. Got it up to 2500, trimmed it up, and it flew itself. Only logged .9 total, but it seemed much shorter. It was a great day at the airport. The flight school had the grill going, people were hanging out, and there were 10 airplanes sitting on the ramp.
