I have a good friend who does them for me, I am a very fortunate.
But he wears me out during.
We did the first flight on 12-27-23 1.8 hours and 3 approaches a hold and maneuvers.
Then 1.5 on the ground. That wasn’t enough and because of his working schedule and the weather we didn’t get it finished until this morning.
3 more approaches and a hold while talking to ATC this time receiving vectors VFR.

Another 1.7 today and another 1.5 hrs debriefing. We also did a pre flight session before we got in the plane. He is a standards check airmen.
I dread it a little before but afterwards I want more.
We used the AP for one of them and the hold, then hand fly the rest and teaching me to use the FD without the AP. We did partial panel and an engine out. He drills me in the air and then we discuss on the ground. The plane was ahead of me a couple times by his design.IMG_4268.jpegIMG_4267.jpeg
After I am pretty wore out mentally. He also provides paperwork for me to study before and after. I learn from him every time I fly with him and it is like a firehose on days like this.
I am so glad to have him as a friend and hangar neighbor.
