In late September, my little RV8A finally received her airworthiness certificate after a long 12 years of building.

Great feeling to finally get her in the air. Unfortunately, only 1.5 hrs flight time with our wet fall weather and work commitments.

Hey what airport you at? I bet I drive by you on my way home from work every day (CLE to 1G5), and I'd love to peek at your aircraft from the fence =)

what's that funny thing on the front? Is that a fixture to hold the tail up while you install the tailwheel ?

The -8 is a great time machine. Fast, sport aerobatics, all RV.

Great choice, greater accomplishment getting her flying.

Well Done!

The A/C is kept at a small grass strip, Mole Field - Grafton, OH (1OA2)

Right, like I haven't heard that a hundred times.

No, may not look like a P51, dragging her tail through the grass, but flies fast and lands straight down the runway.

Just what I am looking for
