Ferraris and Trains and Booze, Oh My!

I'll bet a beer or two he sues the railroad for destroying his car............

Happens nearly 100% of the time :loco:

The guy's business is just down the hill from Bic's diner. This can't be good.

It sounds like a good way to reduce your inventory.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Why do so many vehicles stall on RR crossings? What's up with that?

If he sues the RR, and I am the general counsel for the RR, I offer him and his attorney a choice:

"If you win your lawsuit, we will pay you promptly, in full, day of decision. But if you lose, you and your attorney have to stand at that railroad crossing while we run a freight over your dumb arses."

When the driver is drunk, stupid, or elderly they drive off of the paved part of the RR crossing, and cars can have a problem getting high hung (?) on the rails. (Forgot the term.)

Take a DUI and the insurance money to be rid of an unsellable car?

If you're going to include the elderly in your list of incompetents, your post would be more credible if you could remember "high centered", a term that every geezer I know doesn't find terribly difficult.

Ferrari's are not really selling right now. At our local dealer they are saying that the few that they are selling are going directly into long term storage for the owners. The owners are worried about the appearance of spending big for toys right now.

So an insurance write off might be the best way to go. He will probably buy it back as salvaged for what parts he can get from it.
