Sure is but he is rich enough. Makes me jealous, just a little. :)

Although I just saw a few still pictures and I would not want to be in that rig as long as he was.

Under total secrecy and a simpler platform. Flies a twin Cessna, too. This is true "EAA" style experimental aviation. Cool!
 
I was wondering why there wasn't more press about this, but in reading the article, it definitely sounds like he planned this in secrecy, and DIDN'T want it to be a big media circus.

How long now until some enterprise starts offering rides like this to people for profit? I would think very soon and my guess is there is no shortage of people with money that would love to go.
 
Costs couple million a pop. Plus waiting for months for the right weather. Even if customers have the money they won't have the time and devotion.
