Feet Back on the Ground

Hello everyone! I am welcoming myself back to the wondrous world of flight! I took a break (10 years) after my son passed away. My feet are back on the ground and I'm looking forward to getting them back in the air!

I am so very sorry about your son. That's a tough blow. You'll find the airplanes the same, though fewer in number. Airports the same, again fewer in number. You'll really like the penetrance of things like in-flight weather.

Well good. I think you will find plenty of support here. It would be helpful to know what you want to do, i.e. commercial, fly around for fun, get from point A to point B, etc... Glad that you are piecing your life back together.
