I've installed about six Linux distros in the past two weeks for research reasons, and when I was done I reinstalled my Fedora 29 system. I figured I'd test the OpenGL, the Screen Recorder, and Kdenlive (a FOSS video editor) by recording, editing, and transcoding a quick trip down the mountain.

I think it came out pretty well considering $0.00 software cost.

I'm plussed. What are you going to do with this, Rich? -Skip

Just updating some old sites and having some fun. I had to install some desktop Linux distros I haven't used in a while, and some that haven't existed for very long, to get some sort of a feel for them.

It confirmed my belief that what matters most is how a distro likes your hardware, because they all use most of the same desktop environments nowadays.

I really wish Google translate had an autodetect for this language.
