Nick - you should be able to add any events to the calendar you like, so long as they don't violate the ROC. But the problem with adding "Licence Acquired Date" as an automatic calendar feature is --- which licence?
I mean for a student pilot, its generally the PP we're talking about... but what about the Multi-Engine Commercial/Instrument Rated Helo/Air/Seaplane pilot? Which licence date does she celebrate?
So I think your best option is to add the calendar event manually when you pass the test - and you can even make it a recurring event so it pops up every year.
