Flew to Newport News for work for a few days this week. Decided to park at Rick Aviation and I wanted to leave them a positive note.

First - With work I have to book travel through a centralized system. They were able to pull my reservation, and make a call. Five minutes later the rental car was at the FBO, they did up the paper work and took my card.

Hidden positive to this is NO hassle with insurance and add-ons. They have no vested interested. I absolutely hate being asked 100 different ways to buy something.

Tie-down is $10 a day, the FBO is in nice condition, and the people are helpful. They also offered to book a hotel room if needed (but I already had one).

Rick's is also who I go to down there. They have an awesome staff and also got me a discount on my enterprise car without my asking. Great team there.

Gotta add another thumbs up. Needed some oil, they provided. The FBO is open until midnight so I after work I was able to take a few people on a joy ride around the bay without any issues. Very accommodating and friendly peope

I've stopped in a few times on Pilots N Paws flights to meet the next pilot in a relay. Staff have been great with the dogs and they have a nice grassy area in front of the building.

Each time they offered us a fuel discount on 100LL (I think their corporate rate) which provided a significant savings.

Great folks!

Keep my plane there... Great group of people that uderstand customer service... From the CSR, line guys and flight school to the guys at the maintenance hangar, they are there to help meet your needs.

Gitmo PM me that next time you're in town... Always like meeting other POA members...

I'll be in town for a couple hours this week for work again, but only a short duration and landing directly on Eustis. I'll drop you a line next time I'm down, which is fairly often

How much of a pain was it to get approval to land at Felker?

Not much. I just send an email and usually have a response within 10 minutes. I have landings permits for all USAF and Army airfields in CONUS. My first time they just asked me who I was meeting with, and that's it.

Edit: If you want, drop me a PM and I'll pass my info for you to look me up on global, and you can email me direct for more info
