Hey everyone,

TL;DR
What is everyone's favorite overnight airport within a 100 NM of Atlanta?

Long..
I DAFS on all forums and read through titles on the first four pages and nothing came up. I am considering flying from the great lakes region (Mid-Michigan) to Floridia [sic] to visit friends and family later this coming fall. I'll probably tie-down at Whitted (SPG) St. Pete with flights to overnight trips to Miami, Ft. Myers, and Key West (Marathon? Key West Intl?). It'll be a 10 hours flying time between KLAN and KSPG and I have to stretch my legs and evacuate every few hours. Any suggested airports near Cincinnati in that state north of KY and around Valdosta (GA/FL state line) for a pitstop and bit to eat would be appreciated too.

Dan

Short: I don't really know much about ATL

Long: Here you're asking about Cincinnati. KCVG is surprisingly cheap from when I checked last year. Weather ended with me not going, but I wanna say they waive the overnight fee with a gas fill and no landing fees or ramp fees. Delta Private Jets FBO.

What are you looking for in this airport near Atlanta?

Proximity to the city? Easy transportation (busses, Uber, Lyft, etc)?

Inexpensive suburban or rural setting or relatively expensive urban airport?

KFTY has always treated me well.
