Never would have thought of that. I knew the bottom paint has copper.. and they used to just slap sheets of copper to cover the bottom of the hull

Another process that I'm looking to implement is 90/10 plasma spraying over steel as a non ablative one time/20yr anti fouling protection. I could also provide thorough corrosion protection on new builds over steel at a fraction of the price of going solid 90/10; although I'd rather have the solid for the extra malleability for enhanced integrity protection around poorly charted reefs.
