All crashes suck and they suck even more when you know someone on board. Sad to see.
 
Sorry to hear of the injury of your friend, Shepherd. I hope that Frank was not severely injured and can have a quick recovery. Godspeed.

Condolences to the Rabbi’s family and a Speedy recovery for the his passenger. I overflew the airport Saturday morning on my way to Kobelt N45. So very sad.
 
Does anyone know if Frank Reiss is doing better? I am looking for a DPE and he is by far the closest and most highly recommended. But I have been unable to contact him since this crash. Any updates on his condition and if he will still be flying in the future? How about a recommendation in his place for a DPE for Private Pilot?
