Families sue helicopter company in deadly Kobe Bryant crash

They are suing the operator, not the manufacturer, to be clear.
Though what they'll get, once the insurance is tapped out ... at least it will feed the lawyers.
 
Not enough insurance limits with the operator, so manufacturer will probably get sued. Insurance companies will just hand over the money tho plaintiffs, since there is not much to negotiate. The twist is, that Vanessa Bryant may get sued since Kobe was the reason the others were on the flight, and Kobe himself will suck up all the insurance money, leaving nothing left for everyone else. It’s going to be in the courts for years.
