False Rumors of TFR expansion

My trainee for the next week is flying up here (Eastern Shore of MD) from North Carolina. He called FSS for a briefing, and says the briefer told him the DC SFRA was expanded by TFR to 60nm because of the Boston Marathon explosions. I did some checking, and there are no new NOTAM's for the DC SFRA. My best guess is the briefer is not familiar with the DC SFRA, and mistook the long-existent 60nm speed limit NOTAM for something entirely different.

Anyone else heard of such silliness?
