Fall Foliage Finder

Thanks for the link! I'm planning on taking my wife and my mom up for a foliage flight. Mom's never been up in a small plane, so that will be a treat for her.

Ditto on thanks for the link.

Here in east central WI things are mostly green.

My school just got our FAA paperwork done (drug testing stuff) to put me on a list of pilots able to offer sightseeing flights. We'll be promoting fall color tours.

This past wednesday I flew about 60nm north of Philadelphia to Hazelton, on the edge of the PA "mountains". Still nice and green there too. Generally, I would take "Portraits in the Leaves" of families and friends about 2 weeks after the first frost. At least this year it looks like we'll get some good colors here in the east, and not the "Green-Brown-Drop" of past years. Here and there a tree is changing early, but mostly things are nice and green yet.

On the way to LUM yesterday, once the undercast broke up, all we saw was the occasional Maple starting to go.

I think I might go to the fall color fly-in at 68C, hopefully the fall colors will show up too! :D
