Fairhope Festival of Flight

Looks like fun (aside from the "crash"). I'm still reading the stuff, but what is the backing for this airshow?
 
If you mean sponsors there is a list on the link for the airshow. In it's second year, it has a large draw from the local community. There's a good mix of civilian and military static displays for a locally produced event. Teledyne Continental runs a maintenance facility on the field, separate from the engine factory in Mobile.

Something you won't see at any other airshow is the Dogwood Trail maidens on the ramp (see attached).
