I think the engines stopped when the props hit the ground!

I stand corrected. It was difficult to see on the small screen of my phone. Now viewing it on a larger screen its clear the props impacted the runway. I guess the " simultaneous engine shutdown" should have been the first clue:wink2:

Why would I care about saving the insurance company's props & engine vs. increasing my pilot workload and risking controllability during an amplified/emergency procedure?

As far as the airframe damage is concerned you probably aren't too far off the mark

Easy fix, engines and props make it expencive.
